Teneshia Winder- Director

Teneshia has over 20 years of dance experience. As a native of New York City, she believes in the value of continuing education and frequently attends dance conventions and workshops throughout the country including Chicago, New York, Washington D.C and Las Vegas where she has learned new dance techniques and teaching methods from some of the top dance masters in the United States.  Teneshia has implemented many curriculum ideas and creative dance combinations from Alvin Ailey, Lester Horton, Stephen Boyd and many others.  It is Teneshia's desire for all students to enjoy their dance experience while learning to appreciate the art, mental discipline and physical demands of dance. Although the importance of teaching proper dance technique is very important to Teneshia, her ultimate reward is watching the joy on each dancer's face as they experience the fun of learning to dance and express themselves through motion.
